This Sky Adventure Arenal tour combines three activities into one day:
Sky Tram, Sky Trek, Sky Walk
Sky Walk - Arenal Costa Rica
Explore the trails of the rainforest at your leisure as we hike the four kilometers (2.5 miles) of trails, discovering rich flora and fauna with each step along the way; this is the first part of a day of adventure in nature.
Accompanied by a professional naturalist guide during your whole tour, this hike lasts approximately 2.5 hours.
Sky Walk guided Tour combining well maintained trails with hanging bridges you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the forest from a different perspective.
The trail is moderately difficult with climbs and descents. Five hanging bridges, two observation points, and two waterfalls are part of this experience.
Sky Tram & Sky Trek
We continue with the Sky Tram, climbing slowly in an open air gondola to enjoy the most spectacular views as you ascend to an observation platform. This is the perfect moment for taking photographs; when the weather cooperates this is the best spot for views of Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal.
As you enjoy the journey, specialized adventure guides will provide instruction for your ensuing adventure: Sky Trek. You’ll be given helmets, gloves, and harnesses of the highest quality for ziplining (traveling by cables suspended above canyons and connected to sturdy steel towers).
Details:
- Travel by Gondola through the forest up to the observation platform.
- 7 zipline cables of lengths between 200 and 750 meters.
- As you travel on the cables you’ll reach speeds of up to 70 km/h.
