What's the minimum age?
|
Kids are welcome, but we have some safety restrictions.
The minimum age varies depending on the canopy tour option.
The youngest participants can start at 4 years old in one of the available options, but most begin at 6.
Regarding children who wish to participate, there are several weight and height restrictions. It varies depending on the Canopy they have chosen.
- Arenal Mundo Aventura: 7 years or Height 100 cms / Weight 51 lbs
- Athica Canopy Tour: 6 years / Adjustable equipment
- Sky Tram & Sky Trek: 5 years, provided the harness and other equipment can be properly adjusted.
- Go Adventure: 6 years
- Arenal Ecoglide Canopy Tour: 4 years / Adjustable equipment
- Canopy Los Cañones: 6 years
- Canopy San Lorenzo: 6 years

Are there any weight restrictions?
|
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants, please consider the following restrictions before booking your canopy tour:
- Maximum Weight: The weight limit varies depending on the tour operator, but generally, participants must not exceed 250 lbs (113 kg).
About the equipment, the biggest one that we have is for 58 inches waist
and 30 inches of leg. If you have less than this measure, we are good.
- Health Conditions: This activity is not recommended for individuals with heart conditions, recent surgeries, high blood pressure, back or neck problems, or
pregnant women.
- Physical Condition: Participants should be in good physical condition and able to walk short distances on uneven terrain.
- Alcohol & Drugs: Participants under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to take the tour.
- Proper Attire: Closed-toe shoes (such as sneakers or hiking shoes) are required. Sandals and flip-flops are not permitted. Comfortable outdoor clothing is
recommended.
By booking a canopy tour, participants agree to follow the safety instructions provided by the guides.

Is there a problem if it is raining?
|
Costa Rica's weather is highly variable year-round.
But for adventurers and nature lovers, that won’t be a problem;
The tours are still running rain or shine. Just in some extreme conditions
will be cancelled in order of safety; in that case, it´s 100% refundable
|

|
|
Can I bring my backpack with me?
|
On our tours, tourists are not allowed to carry any loose objects, such as:
unstrapped bags, cellphones, camera poles/sticks, or objects that
will not leave your hands free while performing such activities.
However, you can carry a small backpack with such objects that you consider necessary.

What should I wear?
|
We recommend that you wear comfortable clothes,
secure shoes, hiking tennis shoes, raincoat/jacket, bug spray, sunblock

Am I being charged for making an online reservation?
|
Payment in advance is necessary for all reservations.
We use PayPal and a secure payment link through
the BAC Credomatic.

Cancellation policies?
|
You will be able to cancel your reservation and get 100% refund
As long as it is at least 48 hours before the tour date.

Is transportation included?
|
Round-trip transportation is included for most of our Canopy Tour options from hotels and Airbnbs in the La Fortuna/Arenal area.
If your accommodation is outside our regular pick-up zone, an additional transportation fee may apply. In that case, we will gladly inform you in advance so you can decide the
best option.
You are also welcome to drive to the tour location if you prefer — all canopy parks offer secure parking facilities.

I’m travelling by car. Is there parking available?
|
Parking is available.
It is generally safe; nothing should happen if you leave your stuff in the car, though you will be responsible.
We also have lockers available to store stuff while on tour.
